A SPACE TO EXPLORE THE METAMORPHOSIS OF M/OTHERHOOD
Join hosts Claire Tonti & Lizzy Humber for Matrescence Festival Melbourne supported by a groundswell of community members in the field; creatives, professionals & friends.
Over two days we will weave together a composition of expert speakers, vibrant discussion, poetry, songs, art making, nature walks, workshops, dancing, with lots of breaks & good food.
This is a daytime event, designed for the rhythms of caring responsibilities. Children of all ages will be welcome alongside and are invited to be their curious, freethinking selves. You are also welcome alone, with a friend, partner or parent. This is space for village thinking and support.
This festival is open to anyone interested in learning more about matrescence. Everyone is open to engage as much or as little as they need, including the invited artists and speakers. We will create spaces to rest and reflect to support neurodiversity and parenthood.
Children & dependents attend for free.
Morning/Afternoon Refreshments and Lunch are provided, including tea and coffee.
